Contact Us

Troop 243 gives each Scout personalized attention, develop their whole person and provide opportunity for personal success. We create a plan for each Scout and monitor their progression through the Scouting ranks and leadership roles.

We teach the Scouting skills through demonstration and hands-on participation. A Scout learns by doing. As he learns, he grows in ability to do his part as a member of the patrol and the troop. As he develops knowledge and skill, he is asked to teach others. In this way, he begins to develop leadership.

We believe each boy deserves immediate recognition for their achievements. The scouts will become increasingly motivated if they are praised for their successes.

Lastly, we believe the boys should have fun. We can learn a lot and earn Scout advancements, while having a great time doing it!
